About Slings
Benefits:
-
The simple
design of the dulce&zoet
sling means no extra bulk when not in use and quick and
easy on and off.
-
By using
the sling properly you distribute the weight over the
full width of you shoulder and across your back.
(see
Wear Your Baby) Because the fabric fold
over your shoulder THERE IS NO STRAP CUTTING INTO YOUR
NECK!
-
Ideal for
breastfeeding anywhere anytime, as discreet as you want
it to be.
-
A great way
to contain your baby or toddler when getting in and out
public transport, and in and out of your car or while
shopping.
-
A wonderful
aid for traveling.
-
A great way
to calm a fussy baby or toddler while you go about your
business.
-
Babies can
be worn to sleep, and will be safe, warm and contained,
while you go on with your activities, or can be put in
bed by slipping out of the sling, turning the sling into
a blankie that still has the familiar scent of the
carrier.
-
The sling
allows you at least one hand free, and when your baby is
older and/or you feel more confident wearing him/her, 2
hands free.
-
dulce&zoet
slings are made out
of different colours and designs of easily washable
(100% cotton) fabric, so you can find one that suits
your own sense of style. A sling works best for
you if you can wear it like you would wear one of your
favourite items of clothing. The sling can be
washed in the washing machine.
-
A ling-worn
baby is happy and cries less. Baby wearing
promotes attachment. Your baby learns about social
interaction at adult height, while being calmed by your
warmth and movement. (Sears&Sears, "The
Baby Book")
A
dulce&zoet
sling makes life easier for your and is good for your baby!
Sizes:
dulce&zoet
slings come in 4 sizes:
S/M/L/XL
The size applies to the carrier,
not the baby, and the same sling can be used from newborn to
toddler.
Your size depends on your shoulder
width. Ask us for help with determining your size.
dulce&zoet
slings are handmade in
New Zealand by Eva Anton and Vibeke Brethouwer. Dulce
and zoet mean "sweet", in their respective mother tongues,
Spanish and Dutch.
